We are currently seeking an excellent property solicitor who specialises in commercial property and development work. We have a busy property department with prominent developer and investor clients.

Main purpose of the job:

Reporting to the Head of Department and working closely with the team to assist our clients on standalone matters and with colleagues on larger transactions.

The Candidate

The successful candidate will be a committed Commercial Property Lawyer (from 3years PQE) who has commercial property experience (essential) and residential property development work experience.

You will be proactive and will deal with all routine commercial property matters with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of commercial property contracts and agreements.
  • Conduct legal research and provide support on a variety of commercial property transactions.
  • Liaise with clients, providing clear and concise legal advice.
  • Assist in the management of property portfolios, including acquisitions, disposals, and leases.
  • Support senior lawyers in the preparation of legal documents and reports.
  • Attend client meetings and assist in the development of client relationships.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Qualified solicitor / CILEX in England and Wales with a focus on commercial property law.
  • Strong academic background with a degree in law (LLB or equivalent) or relevant experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in legal research and drafting.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and client service.

Job Types:

Full-time or part-time considered, Permanent.

Salary:

From £45k – £60k depending on experience

.

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Weybridge: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location:

In person / hybrid (min 3 days per week in office)
