Get Involved: Fundraising Challenges for Our 2025 Charity Partner, Community Foundation for Surrey

As part of our support for the Community Foundation for Surrey – Surrey Law Society’s nominated charity for 2025 – we’re encouraging members to take on a fundraising challenge this year to help raise vital funds for local communities.

There are several brilliant opportunities to get involved, no matter your fitness level or preference. Take part in the Surrey Hills Wine Walk In June – a scenic trek through five local vineyards as part of English Wine Week, open to all and aiming to raise £500 in support of Guildford Philanthropy and the High Sheriff of Surrey Youth Awards.

For something more relaxed, why not join the Beacon of Peace 5K Walk on Sunday 29th June, starting at Waverley Abbey School? Organised by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association, this inclusive and family-friendly event offers a fun way to get active and support local causes.

And for those looking to push themselves, the Surrey North Downs Ultra Challenge takes place on Saturday 12th July, starting from Surrey Sports Park in Guildford. With options to walk, jog or run distances from 10km to 50km, and multiple fundraising packages available, it’s a rewarding and memorable way to support the Foundation’s work.
