Have Your Say: Law Society Launches Pride in the Law Survey 2026

10th June 2026

The Law Society has launched its Pride in the Law Survey 2026 and is encouraging LGBTQ+ solicitors and allies across the profession to share their experiences.
.

The survey follows the Law Society’s 2021 Pride in the Law research, which highlighted important issues relating to workplace inclusion, discrimination, mental health and wellbeing, career progression and being out at work. The 2026 survey aims to understand what has changed since then and identify where further support and action may be needed.
.

The findings will help shape the next phase of the Law Society’s equality, diversity and inclusion work and ensure future guidance and support is focused where it can have the greatest impact.
.

The survey is anonymous, takes approximately 10–20 minutes to complete and is open to LGBTQ+ solicitors and allies, regardless of career stage, workplace or background. Participants who complete the survey by Sunday 28 June 2026 can choose to enter a prize draw to win a £100 voucher.
.

Surrey Law Society encourages members to take part and help ensure the experiences of LGBTQ+ professionals across the legal sector are represented.
.

Complete the survey by 28 June 2026.
