LGBTQ+ Professionals in the Legal Sector – Regional Event in Guildford

Surrey Law Society members may be interested in an upcoming regional event celebrating and exploring the experiences of LGBTQ+ professionals in the legal sector, hosted by SLS member firm Stevens & Bolton in Guildford.

To mark LGBTQ+ History Month, the InterLaw Diversity Forum is hosting an evening panel discussion bringing together LGBTQ+ legal professionals from both in-house and private practice. The discussion will explore career journeys, visibility, allyship, and the creation of inclusive workplaces within the legal profession.

The event will also feature a presentation of the latest data on LGBTQ+ legal professionals in the UK, drawing on findings from the InterLaw Diversity Forum’s UK Model Diversity Survey and Career Progression in the Legal Sector Report (sponsored by the SRA). The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session and a networking reception.
